Wow.
Never thought I’d be seeing my 7th grade band on wikipedia, but here it is:
Never underestimate the power of the nets, they are too insane for your understanding.
I’ve been sporadically working on a ‘People Search’ utility for the website I maintain and develop. This has been an ongoing project since about a year ago (when I started) - because it was one of the first things I remember being asked about. In recently months, I’ve come closer and closer to finding an open-source solution out here on the web.
After stumbling through several iterations, using several different sites, I finally stumbled across this gem on Antonio Lupetti’s blo: Woork. This is the first out-of-the-box solution I’ve found that works in PHP with MySQL, and has a nice and SMALL (under 50 lines) Ajax library packed with it.
I hope this comes of use to someone else - the code is highly customizable, and could fit into any project.
Here is a list of links I used prior to finding Antonio’s solution:

So I’ve started dabbling in the art of Quicktime VR Panoramic photography. In this, one takes multiple shots of a room from a center point, then splices them all together using PTMac for the Mac, or PTGui for Windows. I made the following Quicktime VR of my room in about an hour, with no prior knowledge in Panaoramic stitching, or the actual software.
For anyone interested, I used the tutorial over here: http://fromparis.com/html/technical.php
